Pauline McKean - teacher

Oct 27, 2015 by Pauline McKean

Hi everyone!

I am the teacher of Global Issues at The Hun School of Princeton.  I am also the Director of Global Programs.  I have a degree in Economics and International Relations with a minor in Latin American Studies.  I am lucky enough to have traveled to over 25 different countries and I speak Spanish fairly well.  I was in Colombia years ago, but only for 2 days!

I have a 13-year old son, a dog, and a cat.  My hobbies include just about anything outdoors:  hiking, biking, camping, running, kayaking, sailing, and travel.  I love traveling overseas with students because it is amazing to see how those experiences impact them.  I also love teaching students about the world, its challenges and its opportunities.  I think that issues related to access to clean water are some of the most important issues we will face in this century.

I look forward to meeting everyone!  Hasta pronto!

This is me and my son in Morocco this past summer.
